Libra Securities, LLC is a full service investment bank serving the capital and financial advisory needs of middle market companies and institutional investors. In the sixteen year history of Libra and its predecessors, we have been involved in over $10 billion of financing transactions and have extensive experience in representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations and financial restructurings. Our Corporate Finance department serves clients in a wide variety of industries, and we also maintain dedicated industry groups serving the Gaming and Travel and Leisure service markets as well as a dedicated Corporate Restructuring group. In addition, we are a market leader in the secondary trading of privately placed debt securities.

Formerly a part of U.S. Bancorp, one of the nation's largest bank holding companies, Libra Securities spun off from U.S. Bancorp in late 2001. By combining the professionalism and institutional relationships of a large Wall Street firm with the personal service of an independent company, we have established ourselves as one of the nation's preeminent middle market investment banks.

Our broad experience is only part of what we bring to an engagement. At Libra Securities we are well aware that a financial advisor's performance is only as good as the personnel assigned to a project. Accordingly, to better serve our clients, we staff each engagement so that clients benefit from on-going daily personal interaction with senior level personnel. This high-ranking involvement brings a broad array of experience, resources and relationships developed from careers both on and off Wall Street.

Firm History

In January of 1999, Libra Investments, Inc. became part of U.S. Bancorp, the nation's eighth largest bank holding company. At the end of 2001, substantially all of the employees of Libra spun off from U.S. Bancorp and formed Libra Securities, LLC with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Boca Raton.
